An antique 19th-century French gilt bronze mantel clock. The footed base is decorated with acanthus ornaments. A figure of a young man in Rococo era attire with a book is mounted above. The round guilloche dial with Roman numerals is placed by the figure. Key-wind mechanism. The clock is placed inside of a display case, clear glass dome with footed gilt wooden base.
