A rare Russian polychrome hand painted porcelain figurine by the Lomonosov State Porcelain Factory, Leningrad. The figurine depicts Feodor Chaliapin in the title role of Modest Mussorgskys Opera Boris Godunov. Circa: 1955. After a 1922 model by Iakov Troupianskii and a painted design by Varvara Rukavishnikova. Mounted on a base. Marked and dated with an impressed stamp, on the base.
