A Russian silver egg box consisting of two hinged parts. Each side is decorated with a 1912 silver 50 kopeks coin medallion featuring its obverse or reverse sides in a floral frame. The obverse shows the profile of Nicholas II of Russia turned left with the lettering By the Grace of God Nicholas II Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia written in Russian, while the reverse bears the heraldic double headed eagle with shields of provinces, holding an orb and staff.
