An antique German hand painted porcelain figure by Scheibe Alsbach Porzellanmanufaktur. The composition depicts a Napoleonic Imperial Guard rider with drums seated on a horse. The figure is covered with polychrome enamel and decorated with gilded accents. Mounted on a figural base featuring a relief gilded motif. Inscribed, Garde Imperiale, on the front side. Marked with a blue ink manufacturer mark, on the backside. Circa: early 20th century.
