A Russian Neoclassical paper knife or letter opener in the style of a Roman gladius sword. The blade is made of polished jade. The gilt silver handle is decorated with white guilloche enamel, angel overlay, semiprecious stones and amethysts. The handle has a dogs head finial with gemstone eyes. Hallmark of 84 silver standard and makers mark are on the handle. Total Weight: 100 grams. The item comes in original box.
