Description

A lot of Russian late Soviet Era porcelain cabinet plates by the Vinogradoff porcelain factory. A total of 8 items. Printed with scenes inspired by the Russian Tales, Tsar Saltan, The Stone Flower, The Tale of the Priest and of His Workman Balda, Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish, The Golden Cockerel, Lukomorye. Palekh style. Each piece is hand-signed by the artist underneath, dated 1988 to 1990 and marked on the bottom. Plates number 5033A, 482A, 487A, E3437, 8795M, 5877M, A1371, M1559. The set comes in a collectors box, each plate has an individual certificate of authenticity. Palekh is one of the largest centers of Russian lacquer art.
