Description

An ancient pair of Pre Columbian Chimu ceramic vessels with Animals. Both vessels are round in shape with long necks that taper towards the top. First zoomorphic vessel with a blackware handle in the shape of a seated lemur with concentric eyes. Second is adorned with a monkey perched on one side. Chimu is a highly developed Pre Columbian culture in South America that existed from about 800 to 1470 AD in the north of present day Peru in the area of the city of Trujillo.
