A fine quality Russian 84 gilt silver and enamel pill box. The exterior of the box is covered with Guilloche enamel in a pink shade. The lid is adorned with an overlay depicting an Imperial Eagle set with diamonds and a cabochon cut sapphire to the center. Marked on the bottom with an 84 Russian silver standard, a kokoshnik mark, Cyrillic makers initials MP, and other Russian hallmarks. Comes in an original fitted wooden box.
