A dark Baolet mask from West Africa, Ivory Coast. The mask is modeled with narrow eyes, a small mouth, five horns and a wide collar that completely covers the neck. Provenance: New York, Private collection. This type of African mask is a Baule mask which is worn at Goli rituals.
