Description
A yellow ceramic vase from the English company Carlton Ware. The vase has a shape close to conical, the top and base are black with a gold tone edging. In the center of the vase, the main design on two opposite sides has Asian motifs. On one side is a curved flowering fantasy tree resembling sakura on a black background. On the other side of the tree there are more fancy lush flowers, reminiscent of peonies. At the base, at the bottom of the vase there is a makers mark of Carlton Ware. Carlton Ware is a ceramics manufacturer based in Stoke on Trent, England. The company was founded in 1890. Table and Desk Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles.
