An antique 19th century oil painting on canvas called Plaza Redona, Valencia Spain by the American artist Henry Correja, born 1841. This masterfully painted artwork depicts a busy shopping day with people and animals at Plaza Redona in Spain, which appeared in the mid 19th century. In the center of the composition is a seated elderly woman in a warm scarf and headscarf, selling glass products. The street scene takes place with a large blue building in the background. Signed by the artist at the bottom right and bears a memorial inscription: A mon ami Dwight Bayden. On the reverse side of the canvas there is the inscription Plaza Redona, Valencia Spain.
