A lot of three vintage porcelain paired figurines from occupied Japan, 1945 to 1952. Polychrome paired figures of ladies and gentlemen are made in the same style and painted by hand. One of the figures is marked Made in Japan on the bottom, the other two are marked Made In Occupied Japan. This is the period from May 1945 to April 1952, when Japan, having been defeated along with Germany in the Second World War, was occupied by Allied forces, incl. America.
