An antique cast brass sculpture The Bather by Paul Delaroche, French, 1797 to 1856. Circa the first half of the 19th century. The artwork represents a semi-nude woman seated oa na pedestal. Signed on the base: Delaroche. Note: Hippolyte de la Roche, known as Paul Delaroche, born July 17, 1797 in Paris where he died November 4, 1856, was a French painter and sculptor.
