Cast bronze sculpture by Pierre-Jules Mene, 1810 to 1879, a French sculptor and animalier who is considered one of the pioneers of animal sculpture in the 19th century. The artwork represents a hunter leading a dog on a leash. Titled Enligsh Hunter with Bloodhound, Valet de Limier. Dated 1879. Signed by the artist on the bottom.
