Description
A Nazi German type military order, War Order of the German Cross, or Deutsches Kreuz in gold. It was instituted by Adolf Hitler on 28 September 1941. The gold version was awarded for repeated acts of bravery or military leadership. The medal is an eight pointed star with a swastika in the middle. Marked on the backside: G. Brehmer Markneukirchen.
