A pair of ancient Roman sewing needles from Nikopol. Circa 1st century AD. The items are found in Nikopol Bulgaria. During the Roman Empire, the settlement was part of the province of Moesia. Later, in the 4th century, after the division of the Roman Empire, it remained within the borders of the Eastern Roman Empire of Byzantium until the 14th century.
