A Russian Neoclassical paper knife or letter opener in the style of a Roman gladius sword. The blade is made of polished nephrite jade. Jeweled gilt silver mounts. Cobalt blue guilloche enamel handle with 1913 overlay, referring to the Romanov dynasty reigh anniversary. Imperial eagle finial is garnished with an anchor. Hallmark of 84 silver standard and makers mark are on the handle. Total Weight: 90 grams. The item comes in original box.
