An antique Russian Orthodox hand painted icon of Saint Spyridon the Wonderworker, Bishop of Tremithus. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. Titled in Cyrillic, upper right and left. The icon is overlaid with a Silver oklad or riza, adorned with chased and engraved detailed patterns. Marked with an impressed hallmark.
