Description

A pair of antique Japanese, early Meiji era, enamel over gilt copper vases. The exteriors of the wares are adorned with polychrome enamel medallions representing floral and foliage ornaments and striped ornaments made in the Cloisonne technique. The necks and the bases are decorated with floral, foliage, and geometrical motifs made in the same technique. The vases are inlaid with Gold stones. Circa: 1868 to 1877.
