Description

A vintage American wooden sculpture by Edmund Maultaszche, 1901 to 1955. Circa early to mid 20th century. The Modernist black artwork represents a mother and a child sitting on her arm. The sculpture has an elongated shape, reminiscent of female figures from the medieval Gothic period. Signed Maultaszche on the base.
