Description

A pair of patinated bronze and metal hand forged andirons. The wares are made in a Neoclassical design. The lower parts of the pieces are made in a curved design and mounted on ball shaped legs. An andiron or firedog is a support bracket, usually found in pairs, on which logs are laid for burning in an open fireplace so that air can circulate underneath the wood, allowing better burning and less smoke.
