Georges van der Straeten, Belgian, 1856 to 1928, a bust of a young beauty adorned with a tricorn hat, crafted in bronze. The base of the bronze is signed by the artist and bears a casting mark. Georges van der Straeten was renowned for his sculptures that often depict graceful figures in elegant attire, reflecting the artistic tastes of his time.
