An ancient water pitche, crafted in Near East, Almash, Iron Age. It is a ceramic vessel in the shape of a miniature amphora. Approximately 3 600 BC. This vessel had polished surfaces and a conical bottom, which made it impossible to install it vertically without additional support. It was probably used as a flask or inserted into the ground.
