Graphite on paper drawing, attributed to Boris Grigoriev, 1886 to 1939, a prominent Russian artist and illustrator, member of the Mir Iskusstva movement. The artwork depicts a portrait of a young woman. Presumably a sketch for an oil painting. Dated 1927 - 1929 on the backside. Illegibly titled on the backside. Signed by the artist in the upper right. Wooden frame. The Fine Art Society Ltd. London label sticker is preserved on the backside. Collectible Modernist Graphic Art, Russian Emigre Artists.
