An antique 19th-century Russian Orthodox icon representing Jesus in the Christ Pantocrator iconography, known in the Western Christianity as Christ in Majesty. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. Gilt silver riza or oklad with engraved decor, hallmark of 84 silver standard and makers marks are on the rim. Velvet backing.
