An antique small Minakari plate, handmade and inspired by Persian art. Minakari is the art of enamel working and decorating copper with colorful, baked coats, a distinguished craft from Isfahan. The plate is signed in the center on a blue ground with the calligraphy Mohammed is the Prophet of Allah, surrounded by rich floral decor along the edge. Circa the 1920s.
