Description
A Russian Imperial manner sculptural ashtray. The ashtray is made in the shape of a head of a horse. Designed by Eugene Lanceray, Russian, 1875 to 1946. Marked with an impressed stamp, Crosna, on the backside. Yevgeny Yevgenyevich Lanceray, also often spelled Eugene Lansere, was a Russian graphic artist, painter, sculptor, mosaicist, and illustrator, associated stylistically with Mir Iskusstva, World of Art. Antique and Vintage Figural Animal Bronze Ashtrays, Tobacciana Wares, and Collectibles.
