An ancient granite stone mythical animal head sculpture. Presumably of Near Eastern Syro Hittite origin. Circa 1000 BC. Well detailed head with large ram horns curling backwards, forming through holes. Head of a roaring lion with an open mouth. One applied eye. Possibly used as an amulet or idol.
