An antique 19th-century Russian Orthodox icon. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board with gilding. The icon consists of small panels representing the Twelve Great Feasts of the Orthodox Church, with the scene of Resurrection in the center. Each panel is titled in Church Slavonic.
