An antique 19th century Kalamkari textile wall hanging. The textile is adorned with hand painted polychrome floral and foliage patterns on the front side and floral pattern on the back side. Kalamkari or chitsazi is the Iranian art of applying designs to fabric, carried out both manually and using special printing stamps.
