A large antique Japanese Imari porcelain serving bowl. Late Edo or Meiji era, 19th century. White dish with hand painted cobalt blue, gold, and red decor. Floral motifs and a fantastic animal. Unmarked. Imari ware is a Western term for a brightly coloured style of Japanese export porcelain from the Arita region in the 17 and 18th centuries. Collectible Asian Oriental Tableware And Serveware.
