An antique Russian 56 gold cigarette case. Of a rectangular form, the exterior is engraved with a delicate wavy pattern and the side borders are adorned with a meander pattern. The lid has decorative gold overlays depicting Neoclassical floral motifs and is centered with a double headed Imperial Russia emblem set with diamonds and a cabochon cut gemstone.
