Description
A large Russian 88 gilt Silver letter and page opener knife. The blade of the knife is made of hand carved Nephrite Jade. The ricasso is adorned with a relief foliage pattern. The handle of the knife is covered with a Royal blue Guilloche enamel and adorned with a relief image of an Imperial double headed eagle, encrusted with a Ruby stone to the center and Diamonds. A figural finial made in the shape of the head of a horse, engraved with detailed patterns, on the top. Marked with a Silver standard hallmark, makers marks, and other marks.
