An ancient silver tetradharm coin, Roman Empire, province of Syria, presumably reign of Philip II, 247 to 249. On the obverse there is a draped bust of the emperor in a laurel wreath, turned to the right. On the reverse of the coin there is an eagle standing full face on the ground with its wings open to the sides, its head turned to the right, and a wreath in its beak.
