After Auguste Rodin, French, 1840 to 1917, a bronze sculpture depicting a couple, Paolo and Francesca, characters borrowed from Dantes Divine Comedy and titled The Kiss, circa 1882. Signed to the base. Auguste Rodin was a sculptor generally considered the founder of modern sculpture.
