An antique French 1808 Napoleon Emperor Officer Guard Regiment badge. The badge is made of a gilt metal and features an eagle with outstretched wings above a ribbon with the year 1808 on it. The badge is mounted on a green fabric background, all of which is enclosed in a dark brown wood frame with a gilt inner border.
