A Russian hand painted paper mache Easter Egg case features two halves with a red interior and black exterior adorned with the icon of the Ascension of Christ with gilding on the front. On the back of the egg is the inscription Christ is Risen. Russian Icon Painting, Easter Eggs, Orthodox Religious Items and Collectibles.

Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Has scuffs and scratches. Slight scuffs and stains in paint. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
