Description

An ancient Greek gold bead, dating from 500 to 100 BC. The bead is a conical shaped, with a hole for stringing. Its surface is highly textured, featuring a series of parallel ribs or grooves that run the length of the bead. These ribs are evenly spaced and give the bead a fluted or ribbed appearance.
