An American abstract painting attributed to Marsden Hartley. The painting belongs to the artists series, created from 1914 to 1915. Signed lower center. Marsden Hartley, 1877 to 1943, was an American Modernist painter, poet, and essayist. Hartley developed his painting abilities by observing Cubist artists in Paris and Berlin. One of a kind artwork.

Canvas 19 1/2 x 17 1/4 in. Image size 17 3/4 x 14 3/4 in. All measurements are approximate.

Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Has craquelures and stains in paint. Chips in paint. Some tears in canvas. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
