Four medieval Republic of Venice coins, crafted from silver. Included are two of the Grosso coins, each with an obverse depicting St. Mark handing the banner to the doge and a reverse featuring Christ sitting on a throne. And two Zecchini coins, with an obverse showing St. Mark presenting a staff with a cross to the doge, and a reverse displaying a full length, facing figure of Christ within a beaded ellipse.
