After James N. Rosenberg, American, 1874 to 1970, a pastel drawing on sandpaper depicting landscape view. Signed lower right with the artists initials and dated 1961. Additionally inscribed For Carrie Schwarz and signed to the frame. James N. Rosenberg was a lawyer, artist, humanitarian, and writer. In art, he is remembered for two types of pictures, on the one hand, realistic landscapes of the Adirondack Mountains, and on the other, dramatic scenes.
