Watercolor on paper painting by Fairfield Porter, 1907 to 1975, an American artist and art critic associated with the New York Figurative Expressionism. Many of Porters paintings were set in or around the family summer house on Great Spruce Head Island, Maine. This lot depicts houses on the seashore and a sailing ship. Signed by the artist in the lower left. Undated. Black mat, golden frame. Collectible Graphic Art, Seascape.
