Paul B. Pascal, American, French, 1832 to 1903, an antique gouache painting on paper depicting a Middle Eastern genre scene, 1901. Signed and dated, lower right. Framed. Paul Pascal is known for Middle Eastern scene landscape paintings, Native Americans. Paul Pascal was a French landscape painter. He did landscape paintings of the Middle East and the Mediterranean coast with gouache. After he emigrated to the United States in 1893, he did paintings of the American wilderness with Native Americans. His artwork is exhibited in museums in France.
