A Japanese Ukiyo E woodblock print on paper by Nishikawa Sukenobu, 1739. The artwork depicts a woman in a long kimono sitting on the floor, admiring a bonsai composition. Stamped and inscribed lower right. Matted and framed. Nishikawa Sukenobu, 1671 to 1750, often called simply Sukenobu, was a Japanese printmaker from Kyoto. He did prints of actors, but gained note for his works concerning women. Graphic Art Prints And Collectibles, Orientalist Art.
