The artwork represents a full-length portrait of Thomas Molineaux, 1784 to 1818, an African-American bare-knuckle boxer and possibly a former slave. He spent much of his career in the UK and Ireland, where he had notable successes. Golden frame. Collectible Fine Art, Portraiture, Americana.
