An ancient Pre Columbian Mesoamerican Olmec mask carved from brown steatite. It is a mans face with a stern, hard expression. The mask has harshly carved facial features. Comes with a stand. Labeled to the bottom. The Olmecs flourished during Mesoamericas formative period, dating roughly from as early as 1500 BCE to about 400 BCE.
