A traditional Central African Fang Ngil mask from Gabon. The mask is an elongated face with large facial features: forehead, nose and lips. Narrow eyes. The mask is decorated with geometric patterns. There are holes drilled on the sides and on the back. The Ngil mask is used in the initiation ceremonies of the Fang society.
