A pair of Russian Soviet naval and army daggers, elements of the dress uniform for officers in the Soviet Union. Both daggers feature edged steel blades marked at the ricasso and crossguards with an S-shape construction. The celluloid grips are set with gilt brass fittings, while the leather-covered scabbards are complete with upper, center, and lower gilt fittings and two suspension rings. One scabbard has an upper fitting engraved with an anchor on one side and a sailing boat on the other, while the other features an upper fitting engraved with the Kremlin tower on one side and a star with the hammer and sickle on the other.
