A pair of watercolor on paper paintings by R.A. Avak Hayrapetian, 1926 to 2008, an Armenian-Iranian artist. He was a founder of Studio Demon, a small atelier supporting painters through the production of light-hearted images of Iranian characters which were retailed as souvenirs. This lot dates back to the Studio Demon period of the artist career. First. A portrait of three poor children, dated 1956. Second. A portrait of a black dog, titled Arthur S.
