A rare Russian early Soviet era GPU commissars shirt. Made of high-quality Persian olive grade wool. Has 2 large buttons on the collar, 5 buttons on the front, 2 front pockets with large buttons, 2 low side pockets with large buttons and small button and stripe pouch for holding shoulder boards. This is a conversation-type uniform from Russian Imperial army or Russian Civil War White Army uniform. Very unique collectors specimens, museum quality. Red Army and state security agencies GPU, NKVD, NKGB did not wear shoulder boards by protocol decree until 1943, thats why shoulder boards from the tunic were removed and this uniform was used as a captured trophy.
